Field Trip Today!

Today we went to the Cedar River Watershed in North Bend- it was so fun and the kids got to learn about water cycles and where our drinking water comes from. Caitlyn loved putting little water drops (bouncy balls) in the tubes to be water that transferred elsewhere like the ocean. and each of the kids got to figure how many gallons of water are in they're bodies. Cydney has 6.5 gallons, Collin has 4.3 & Caitlyn 2.2 gallons. Afterward we went over to Rattlesnake Lake and had a picnic lunch, it was so beautiful and the kids had such a fun time playing with friends from Friday school. All in all a great day!

I remember that! Reading through your blog posts brings back memories of past field trips ect...
