2012, A year of exciting adventures.
2012 was a very full exciting year.
It started with moving in January, birthday parties, a field trip to Pioneer Farms and busy activities kept us occupied all spring, along with planting a large garden. Summer was a blast complete with a slip n slide, bike riding, blueberry picking, taking Cait to the zoo for the first time, a trip up to Mt. Rainer and swimming at the lake. We also headed to Idaho for a fun filled family reunion. The kids were so excited to be back in Sandpoint again since our last trip in 2010. In August, D and I went out to a fancy waterfront dinner to celebrate 11years of marriage while my Mom babysat. We went into fall with the temperatures blazing, I was ready for a cool down but instead we turned up the heat by flying to CA and spending time with family along with meeting cousins and spending a lot of time in the pool, after that it was off to Legoland for two days. We all thought it was amazing but exhausting especially to a Mama experiencing morning sickness, that's right we found out we were expecting baby #5 in March 2013.
Caitlyn started attending preschool in fall as well and it was a nice routine to fall into. Cydney ended up getting braces on her teeth in November which was not planned but worked out quite nicely, she will be wearing them for 2.5 years. The Holidays were busy with our normal traditions and Daddy surprised the children with a Kitty Cat which they named Mandie, we cut down our own tree at a local farm and went to the in laws for Christmas dinner.
